Today is another great day in Lium Poland. Consultant after consultant is crushing the goal and ringing victoriously at the "Winners Bell" in our office. Today it truly is a Golden Friday!

It feels exactly as exciting as it did when I started in Lium Sweden 4 years ago, as an engineering student at KTH. Taking the goal and delivering the best possible service to our customers was our only goal.

It is great to be still in this great family with Richard Lium.

What´s the 3 most important things for a salesman?

Maybe it´s different depending who you ask? Whats right for me could be the wrong thing for you?

I have several years in sales behind me. Before joining Lium´s sales Force I thought I knew it all...propably a little bit cynical. Nevertheless, and with great joy, Lium brought to me a new way, new eyes, something different. Something I never felt. The Teamspirit!
Now you maybe think, "Whats so special about that?". Well if you never felt the team spirit, the team goal or the many differential personalitys, with the same goal and spirit you´ll never understand. To just walk in to the office and meet all the joy makes me wanna work harder. And not just for the glory of having the chans to make money but also to be a part of everything that stands for Lium and all it´s benefits And having the opportunity to help people through Lium´s charity! I used to be a man of few words, now I can´t hardly stop, in a good sense I mean.

So now you ask, "whats the 3 most important things got to do with this...?"
Well nothing, I just wanted your attention, but if you really wanna know.

The Teamspirit

Some days you wake up and feel like "This day is going to be a tough day", it happens to almost everyone that works.

My day begun like that.
I woke up felt like this is a day i just wanna sleep everything away i feel stressed and pressed over almost everything at work.

I asked the Business Unit Manager and CEO of Lium Global, Christian Björses for help, and the result of his help is that I feel more motivated now.

This is what he told me to:

  • Make a list of everything you should do.
  • Take the list and put the different things you have to do in priority arrangements.
  • And then you take the list and start from the top and down to the bottom until you have finished everything.

HOW EASY IS NOT THAT? It's so obvious.

But when you feel like I felt, you don't really think about that.

With his experience in Lium Sweden AB and with his experience as a Business Unit Manager he gave me the help that i needed.

What I want to say is that the teamspirit at Lium Sweden is really good.

And when I work with colleagues that have a teamspirit they share their own experience and it makes me a better salesman.

I just LOVE this place!

Lium Denmark news

Lium Denmark is the latest to open up within the Lium Corporation. Lium Denmark has only been in operation since March 2008, but has already begun to build up a solid client base and carry on the Lium values in Denmark.

There has been enormous demand for our services which have resulted in a faster than expected growth. In order to cope with this growth and demand for our services, Lium Denmark will be relocating to larger offices in Copenhagen from the 01st of August 2008.

Also in keeping in line with the Lium Corporation´s impressive charity work, Lium Denmark have officially made their first donations to the charity Børns Vilkår. Børns Vilkår is the first of many charities which will be supported by Lium Denmark.

Lium is setting standard for the future

Hi. I have been working at Lium since we were only 10 employees. This was only 4 years ago and today Lium Global employs 150 outstanding salesmen. I have witnessed the extreme fast growth of this company and also the Lium concept. It has been a very exiting time and I am really looking forward to see what the future will bring.

Anything is possible
I don't think that any other company could have believed in me so much and done so much in trying to make me a tough and skilful businessman. Lium is the best place in the world if you want to grow as a business man. There is only one thing that can hold you back at Lium and that is only your own imagined obstacles. I take good pride in telling people that I work at Lium.

Lium is a future company
I believed Lium is a company that will make a big difference in the world. Lium has understood that if we want a future for our kids and if we want to make the world a better place for all its inhabitants, it starts right here and now. We must act now by donating money to charity and if possible give direct help to situations of extra need. It's to late tomorrow.

You can also contribute personally by donating money or work extra hard at Lium. :o) If we all do something it will make a big difference.

Lium is also a very different any interesting company if you look at our management, strategies and business thinking. I will tell more about this in a future blogg.

The Lium service
I take extra pride in the service we provide. Lium is the largest specialized company in our industry in Europe. A customer once told me the we have an military precision in our service and customer support. We always have a good result and a satisfied customer on top of mind. As we are the only telemarketing company with 5 ISO certifications, there isn't much that can stop us from delivering a great result again and again.

There is always time for business
I have done several studies with some of my customers and it shows that if they let Lium book meetings to be held in June, July and August they can increase their profit by large numbers. So if you are thing about closing down for the summer and if you think that it is impossible to do get new businees this time of year... think again.

A big extra thanks to all our salesmen today. Everyone has done a great job which means new business to our customers.

Richard Lium’s top 5 tips to motive your sellers (in order)

Hi everyone!
Yesterday a newspaper asked Richard Lium to give them his top 5 tips to motive your sellers.

1) Appreciation
Always give your sales’ personal various kinds of compliments each day. These compliments have to be true and genuine of course. A sales’ person needs attention, and confirmation of the level of their performances from us.

2) Always be available to your staff
Your sales’ persons should always have the possibility to talk to you! They often want to share their success stories during the day, and of course receive feedback!

3) Competence development
Try do give the sales’ persons at least 30 minutes competence development each day. Focus on different sales techniques, mental training and knowledge about the trade and industry. You can also add a element of management into their development! A sales’ person always wants to develop, and learn new things due the fact that they are often very eager to develop.

4) Freedom
Don’t try to control the sales’ persons to much regarding their worktime. A sales’ person wants to come and go as they please. Even if it’s hard, try to think “freedom with responsibility”.


5) Bonus ladders connected to their short-term sales goals
If it’s possible, try to work with daily goals. A sales’ person lives here and now!
